    “You could touch it if you wanted to. It’s part of the excitement,” “There’s always that risk factor, but you just don’t expect that it will happen to you.”

    Tragic as this is, the situation speaks for itself. Acknowledgement of the risk, but the decision to disregard it for the “excitement” value took precedent. Most people with any modicum of common sense wouldn’t be standing at the bottom of a “jump” know to be difficult for drivers to handle. Danger should have been forseeable to the average bear.

    How long will it take for the wrongful death suits to fly naming the department of land management for failure to provide safety & supervision? After all, this is America where liability is ignored in favor of someone always having to pay.
