I carried the model 21 when I was on the street and while serving in spec ops. It is a great sidearm that is very reliable and safe when properly used. Regardless of safety features, firearms and small children do not mix.
From the brief synopsis it would appear that the negligence was not comparable between the retired officer and the product manufacturer. Good call judge.
The ONLY negligence here is on the retired cop for leaving a loaded gun in the back seat with a 3 year old. What a moron. Why was the gun in the vehicle in the first place? Good decision. It’s about time people stopped being rewarded for being an _sshole.
