San Jose Man Arrested for Filing Six False Auto Insurance Claims

    It is obvious that fraudulent auto claims is a common feature in all countries to varying degrees.Notification/Prosecution should be mandatory for insurers. Is there such legal compulsion in US .

    This person should be prosecuted for every count and given the maxium penalties. For one, if these people were prosecuted more vehemently, they would think twice about it the next time, which also cut back on false claims, which might also cut back on our premiums. A win-win situation – they go to jail and are off the streets, and insurance costs us less.
