The moral to this story is to paint your body parts bright colors so the doctor knows which is to go and what is to stay.

I’m half the man I used to be…

I can just see the scene in the operating room:
    As the doctor starts cutting…
Nurse: “Doctor, I thought we were going to get the biopsy results first.”
Doctor, still cutting: “What’s he gonna do- sue me? Hand me that other scalpel.”

I am always wondering if he had to pay full price for the job, or if he got a special discount due to the “problem” they had in getting things done correctly.

With the monetary price of healthcare are we now to also sacrifice our quality of care. It seems that most doctors feel the easy way is the fastest way to a buck rather than remember why they became doctors in the first place. This is a very young man, no reason to think this was cancer I would think the doctor would have handled this accordingly, he held this young man’s future in his hands and took the lazy road. I hope Mr. Irby is treated fairly by his peers and this Docotr thinks before impacting anyones life in such a negative way again.
