Polk and Tateoka should not be solely held accountable for their unlawful actions. Polk and Tateoka are being good soldiers and following orders. Middle management at SSCC are under incredible pressure by senior management relative to Workers’ Comp Benefits. Senior mangers should also be held accountable for the actions of Polk and Tateoka. Not reporting injuries lowers the “recordable cases” which in turn lowers their insurance premiums. How many other cases have not been reported?
