The owners are not criminals because their business is too small to fail. Hard workers should also be able to get bailouts to cover costs such as these because some people want to keep working even if they can not afford to. Besides his worker is like family to him, she even treats the customers like family and volunteers extra hours to help him keep his business running. All I know is that they should arrest the large bank owners for fraud and excessive risk taking instead of picking on small businesses that only want to work and stay in business. Give the owner a medal for showing extreme willingness to work and stay in business. It shall be a crime for the government to pick on businesses which are under a certain size “too small to fail”. I can not believe how bad this second great depression is getting, jobs should come first because banks are not productive at all. We need more productive labor or the country will collapse, and to set an example on productive labor I even volunteer for the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center, and the Centennial Recreation Center, and I would do the same for public works if they would let me. This is a year to stop greed and gambling, and restore old fashioned hard labor in our community.

If you are unable to afford the costs of business, you should not be in business.

The state of California requires Workers Compensation Insurance be carried by EVERY business that has employees. This business is no exception.

Should we also allow them to skip out on their taxes? Not pay unemployment? Operate without a license? Of course not. These laws are there for a reason – they protect the employees and the consumers.

CA usually does not arrest people who are merely discovered to not have coverage. They usually warn you and require you to comply. If you had an injured employee, they will typically fine you (HUGE amounts of money I might add) and require you to comply. My guess is that they lied to the state, or ticked them off some other way and that is why they are being arrested.
