And anyone questions why we need TORT REFORM? We could avoid OBAMACARE too if we had proper TORT REFORM.

I’ve got a hunch who the weather service is going to bring into this lawsuit.

Really deep pockets, but collecting may be difficult (at least in this life time).

Weather reports don’t come with a 100% guarantee. Un-detected turbulence can occur anywhere, anytime. This is a risk of the job and their only rememdy should be WC. No way they’ll prove negligence on this one.

As someone who used to fly for a living- I’d say that this claim sounds frivolous. While ocean and atmospheric weather patterns are often detectable and avoidable, no 100% accurate and reliable capability currently exits. Therefore, you’d have to bring very strong proof of negligence, i.e. the weather was detected and observed as potentially dangerous, but no warnings were issued.
