Earthquake Rattles Alaska Town again

The ground keeps rattling around Willow, Alaska.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center reports that an earthquake at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday shook homes and businesses in the Parks Highway community.

The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1. It’s epicenter was 25 miles west-northwest of Willow and 33 miles southwest of Talkeetna.

The quake was 33 miles deep. There have been no reports of damage.

On Monday, a magnitude 5.4 quake also shook Willow and was centered 24 miles west-northwest of the community.

The quake caused buildings to shake in Anchorage and was felt in Kenai and Fairbanks.
