This guy sold us annuities assuring us that we had nursing home waiver entitling us to withdraw 20% without penalty. My husband was over the age limit for this waiver so Abraham changed the birthdate unknown to us. We found out that his commission was higher at the younger age. He changed our ages on each annuity. We were able to get the waiver by threatening to sue. We regret not suing.
February 23 at 8:30 this morning, David J Abraham was arraigned in Santa Barbara. I will call the DA’s office in a day or two to find out when the trial will start. I want to attend.
appreciate the information about the arraignment. I called the DA’s office and asked to speak to the staff who was handling the case and asked to be kept informed. No response. Was it in the News Press? I regret not turning him into the insurance commission in 2002 when I realized he was a crook.
A Santa Barbara attorney, Raymond Chandler, has filed a class action lawsuit against several insurance companies and Brown and Brown, ins.
Contact him if you want to be included. David Abraham got a slap on the wrist but so far has paid $2 million in restitution.

I hear he got house arrest and restitution. The courts treat white collar crime with a slap on the wrist. I was hoping for jail time at least.
I want to say – thank you for this!
