Yes, Alaska is a part of the United States. And abuse is not a religious issue, it is a people issue.
Predators will not submit themselves to inquiry. They will deny typically all the way to death. I just hope for some form of closure for these human beings. People just like you and me. I hate to think one of us could have been in their shoes, left alone in the middle of a totally isolated piece of planet with a pedophile operating as the patriarch over your parents and caretakers. Envision the reality, take a moment to think of what actually took place in these (then) childrens lives, and perhaps you’ll extend more energy into standing for children in general today. Opposed to arguing mute points regarding geography and religion. It’s a people issue, not a sub-culture issue.

Of course we sent them to Alaska…

We didn’t want them in the US!

Um last time I checked Alaska was part of the United States of America or did they secede? This article is so typical of the behaviour of nutball religious people. It seems that pedophilia and religion goes hand in hand. Not surprising.
