Where does the NTSB get off telling the public it will take them “about a year” to publish a report of it’s findings on the cause of this crash? That’s unacceptable by any standard. This is a private plane not a sophisticated commercial airliner. It seems there are only two possible causes:
1. pilot incompetence/error
2. mechanical failure
Weather doesn’t qualify since it wasn’t bad enough to prevent takeoff and isn’t mentioned as being severe.
