The documents on ALL’s website clearly state that one of the goals of their claim initiative was to significantly improve the percentage of consumers who were happy with the handling of their claim.

In the articles yesterday, this group admitted that they had not read or reviewed the documents prior to issuing a public call for Allstate to be investigated and rates reduced, refunds issued, etc.

This type of behavior reflects the absolute lack of credibility that such groups have. I’m always surprised that the media even pays attention to these bozos any more.

Given the sheer volume of documents released, it would not be possible to do even a casual review of even the core summaries in this short time. Sheer grandstanding.

As far as the ‘Us vs. Them’ comment, in 25 years in practice, I simply have not seen it as Allstate has settled with my clients, first party. Now, get a third party claim represented by counsel and the gloves come off, as they should. Do they expect we should make it easy for them to run their file-and-settle lawsuit mills?

I know one local attorney who in over 15 years Personal Injury practice had never tried a case to a jury verdict, seldom appeared in court at all. I observed him settle many claims that had serious merit for dimes on the dollar to make a quick buck, leaving damaged lives only partially restored.
