You can forget about 179 of these ideas ever getting out of committee.

Her basket certainly is full. Can we get her to do a job switch with the lovely governor of Florida?

Most of what the Gov recommends was already the law in California by the late 70’s – in particular the med-mal recommends – Calif. passed MICRA in 1976 (Medical Insurance Claim Reform Act)- the rest seem to catch up Hawaii to most other progressive States

The HI govt is probably the most corrupt in the nation. With the amount of tourism dollars flooding into the state on a daily basis, it amazes me that HI has the worst infrastructure (things like raw sewage spills on a monthly basis), one of the highest state income tax rates, crumbling classrooms & dorms on the UH campuses, and on and on and on… Hawaii Xprt is right – good luck Guvnah, but getting the but-how-can-I-personally-profit-from-this legislature to agree to any of it is a pipe dream.
