It is curious that nothing in the article suggests that the school district may have believed that the man hired to replace the plaintiff may have been better qualified. If that had been its belief, would this lady still have been “discriminated against”, or was she just seeking early retirement?
I guess what I find frustrating, and perhaps makes me a little cynical, is that so many people seem to have forgotten that that in life sh** just sometimes happens, and that at times one has to roll with the punches.
I agree WooWooWoo…i wish they had mentioned what her record was… If she had a perfect, undefeated season or close to it, or heck even if she was 500, i could see why she would complain, but if she had a losing record, well…(and she should be thankful she’s not in Nebraska because they will fire you here even with a winning season!) :)
