Dang, I almost dropped my beer trying to push the bluetooth button while texting on my laptop, reading the paper. Now, if I could only remember where I was going!

Right, Nancy. I’m having a friend type this for me, translated of course, since I don’t read or understand English. I’ve been driving for nearly 20 years, accident free. Thanks to the wonderful use of symbols, colors, etc, I’m able to avoid accidents. After all, you don’t need English to see a vehicle rapidly approaching you from the opposite side of the street, coming right at you. Or, an inattentive person trying to change lanes into you. Nope, no English needed.

Too bad the State will not consider making it mandatory for drivers to be able to read and understand English before obtaining a driver’s license. This “test” would certainly reduce the risk of many accidents.

Wouldn’t Florida be a better state to begin this program in?

Another useless initiative. Give ’em all rubber cars and let ’em go nuts.

Well Ms. Lane it’s clearly obvious that you do not know how to read and comprehend English at all and I feel very sorry for you. Now that the pity party is over. Try reading the article, try reading my post, try to comprehend everything you just read and come back here and try to post something the makes sense.

I think that the illegal aliens and people w/o car insurance are a great source of accidents. True, I have seen a lot of older people who are dangerous drivers but I ask why does the family not take some responsibility if I thought my parents could no longer drive I would take the keys and that would be that. As, is that fair to know your parents can’t drive and to let them?

I was working in Santa Monica when that old man crashed through it. I would of been there but that day lunch hour was delayed so I was not there when he crashed through it but I did see the after math first hand. The sick part is he proclaimed it was an “accident” try explaining that to the people who died that because he was a careless A****** despite having other accidents. He should of been sent to jail to send a message just because you are old does not mean you can kill and get away with it.
