I\’m not sure what your intent is. However, in my many yrs. as a Mercury agent I\’ve learned that they are among the best in sniffing out fraud. Though in this case that skill was completely unnecessary. I would guess that Mercury has the highest percentage of employees in their SIU dept. compared to their total # of employees of any carrier in the state. If you read these pages regularly you will find that Mercury is one of the regulars that the CDI & DAs work with on fraud rings. They didn\’t get to be Calif. 3rd largest auto writer by being naive and ignorant.

i am surprised that mercury didnt pay the claim- they normally will pay out something like that pretty quickly
