The guy gets drunk, runs a stop sign and kills a guy and it\’s his cell phones fault!

Probably phoning home to make sure there\’s beer in the frig. And so someone else loses his life. SAD.

it\’s not the phone, it\’s the phone they sold him. Had he upped for the convenient yet more expensive cell phone with handy alcohol attachment, which snaps over the ear for use of the phone, plus carries and easy use straw device which hooks up to a fifth of your favorite beverage, he wouldn\’t have been fumbling with his phone when this happens. I see a suit pending against the cell phone manufacturer and sales rep.

Hopefully, when he\’s done serving his 3 or 6 month sentence, he won\’t be so cheap next time and he\’ll pay for the upgrade.

You can use in prison, but don\’t drop it. You know what happens when you try to pick it up!

Yet another classic example of people not taking responsibility for their own actions. I don\’t get it. Was he trying to justify killing the man?
\”Oh it wasn\’t cause I was plastered officer, it was cause I was using my cell phone.\”
\”Oh, your cell phone? Well, ok then no harm done.\”
    What an idiot!

Somebody needs to tell our law makers using or not using seatbelts does not cause accidents but using cell phones leaves a driver with one hand on the wheel and distracts his attention. Start ticketing cell phone users while city driving.

I see no mention of a BAC > .08. How quick we are as Americans to jump on that MADD bandwagon. Unfortunately, a smell of alcohol is all it takes to be put through the ringer in this country gentlemen. MADD is a self serving terrorist group out to elimnate the 4th and 5th Amendments to the Constitution. I\’m sure 5 out of 6 of you posters has consumed an alcoholic beverage and driven once in your life….Those in glass houses……I personally believe it was the cell phone.

i pray that you get hit by a drunk driver today. Frackin\’ idiot. All I can gather from your stupid tirade is that you support drinking and driving. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Did the cell phone run the man over? No, the guy behind the wheel did. Seems to be HIS fault to me, not the phone\’s fault. We used to be able to get by just fine without cell phones around. Maybe the man wasn\’t drunk, true enough, but that doesn\’t make it an inanimate object\’s fault. I\’ll remember your point of view in the future so I can help out a friend. \”Hey Mary- Just tell the officer it wasn\’t your fault, it was your mascara\’s fault. That\’ll show him!\” Ludicrous!
