This morning (1-18-2007) Bay Area radio reporting that the \”residential hotel\” occupant was burned by another source, (crackpipe maybe?) and cell telephone company technicians found the phone in working order even after being burned.

    Bill,

The crackpipe makes sense to me. I know that my crackpipe catches fire all the time.

The burn victim has a heavyweight Hollywood lawyer and you can bet the ranch that Nokia will have a harder time convincing her.
Nokia may be off the hook with fire officials, but a heavyweight personal-injury lawyer has her hooks into them now and won\’t be so easily convinced that the phone wasn\’t at fault. Press conference today.

I agree, definitely a crack pipe in this case. Of coure it doesn\’t matter what started the fire nor does it matter what the result of the investigation will be, Nokia will have to pay out something because of the ambulance chaser that is \”assisting\” the poor \”victim\”. Civil suits are a total joke.

Again, I have to agree. What\’s the point of civil suits anyway. As a matter of fact, I think we should return to a kinder, gentler time when, if someone did you wrong, you just bashed their head in with a shovel.
