It is clearly all George Bush\’s fault, he should have known that this could happen and should have sent federal troops into to secure the Zoo and prevent this mauling, where is the intelligence report on this? All that we need now is for Cindy Sheahan to come back from Cuba and march against hungry tigers

This is not a mauling per se. Once again, the media has sensationalized a tragic event. Cleraly one of two things happened. Either the employee violated safety procedures or the safety procedures were inadequate. I suspect the first.
The tiger did not viciously attack someone. It ate its food and the hand got in the way. Meat it meat to a tiger.
Its sad it\’s tragic. It needs to be investigated to prevent any further problems but clearly the tiger is not at fault and should suffer no ill consequences. I feel for the victim. But the tiger should not be harmed or painted as a vicious creature. Peolple underestimate their power. I have had my fingers nipped accidently when my dogs have gotten over zealous about a treat..my error not theirs. When this happens with a tiger it\’s a hand/arm not just a nip. If the tiger wanted to attack, the person would not be alive.

My heart goes out to the victim. I look forward to the investigation to prevent any future risk of injury such as this.
