Unfortuanely, when an insurance company spends all its time denying wrong doing, they have protested one too many times. They could be right in this case, however, there arrogance continues too reveal lack of trust. A book could be written about how they arrogantly, think of themselves, but the truth is daily they continue to loose there good employees and agents.

Farmers has lied about who handles their monthly payment plans since ther inception. It doesn\’t surprise me to see Farmers in courts again.

Amen, brother. Farmers Insurance deserves this. In a word Karma…..and there must be more coming due to the way Farmers Insurance has repeatedly and consistently mistreats its customers.

I have no love lost for Farmers, but I hate to see some bottom feeding attorney collect money for something as stupid as this. When people pay an installment bill, they know they are paying more than if they paid it all at once. I will bet you the majority of this money, if any is paid, will go to some scum-sucking ambulance chaser.

Bob is right, at the end of the day, the person who gets any award will be the attorney. Anyone who has purchased insurance and could not pay the premium in full, there is a \”finance\” type charge, this is not a premium payment.

Farmers offers a monthly plan that clearly spells out what fees will be charged based on the total premium. Fees charged are far less than premium finance companies charge, if the consumer doesn\’t like or understand it ask an agent to explain. We certainly have enough of those!

I personally dislike Farmers, but those scum-sucking attorneys should go after AAA instead. AAA don\’t charge base flat installment fees. You have only option to pay in full or select 9 pay option with outrageous high interest. If you\’re annual premium is about $5000, you better expect to pay over $25 finance charge. I believe AAA is the only carrier out there who charges finance charge other than non-standard.

This is one of the worst companies in California. Just ask the thousands of unhappy agents who are trapped by their contracts with Farmers. The old agents are being booted out in my district every day of the week and they can\’t find any new agents to hire. No kidding.

Farmers is hands down the best company I have ever dealt with. What really makes the difference is my Farmers Agent. His service and attention is impeccable. Wake up people! Many of you griping about your problems with a specific Insurance Company like Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, etc. are misdirecting your frustration. Find an EXCELLENT agent, like I have. When you do, many, if not all, of your \”problems\” will go away. And, if you are with a company without a dedicated, personal agent…GOOD LUCK.

Yeah, your agent might be \”good\” but the company he represents has lost multiple lawsuits brought against it from it\’s employees (lost $41 million), customers and the DOI. Why are you proud of a company that has fallen from 3rd place to 8th in just 3 years. Why are you proud of a company that just lost a lawsuit for overbilling? Why are you proud of Farmers at all? Admit it, you\’re Paul Hopkins, Farmers failed CEO, trying to spin it. Nice try.
