The tree huggers should be sued for the protection and legislated mismanagement for every one of theses losses. Oh, but then most of the homeowners would actually be suing themselves.

The tree huggers should be sued for the legislated protection and mismanagement of the land for every one of these losses. Oh, but then most of the homeowners would actually be suing themselves. It\’s not the Forest Services fault that stupid people due stupid things (like building in wilderness areas and earthquake zones). But stupid people always expect the smart people to pay for their stupidity even after they\’ve been warned or after a similar incident in history clearly indicates the risk.

So what, your solution to wildfires is to decimate forests? What a freaking moron you are.

Actually, that would be the wrong solution to many people. However, that\’s exactly how our Creator (same one referred to in the Declaration of Independence) designed the world\’s systems. Unless one believes in evolution and that trees and shrubs can become fireproof on their own through evolution. I am sure there are plenty of Morons who would argue that one for you.

What we could do is actually manage the forest by clearing brush. There are plenty of umemployed people who could use a pick and shovel and clean the forest floor. Or they could manage it with logging. It would be cheaper in the long run and probably prevent many of the problems by the Morons who choose to build there.
