Infinity Insurance Companies Seeks Applications for Confianza Award

June 1, 2006

Infinity Insurance Companies is accepting applications for its second annual Confianza Award to recognize independent brokers and agents in California for the commitment the communities they serve.

The award allows principals and staff of agencies and brokerages to apply and describe a charity organization that they actively support. A selection committee will review all applications and will identify one individual to be personally recognized on June 10 at the Latin American Agents Association Convention. As part of the Award, Infinity will donate $1,500 to the charity organization.

The award was designed in response to the support that many agents and brokers associated with Infinity give to their communities. The coordinator of the award, Elisa Obregón, explained, “[The award] allows us to show people inside and outside the industry another way that independent agents and brokers add value to their customers and communities.”

Last year’s Award went to Steve Luce from New Horizons Insurance Services for his involvement to the TLC Children’s Center.

To qualify, a person must currently work a minimum of 20 hours in an independent agency or brokerage. The agency or brokerage does not need to be appointed with Infinity to qualify and this will not be a determining factor in the selection process.

The charity organization must be able to show a history of giving and that the contribution by Infinity will be invested into the community. The recipient must be able to receive the recognition at the LAAA Convention on June 10th.

Applications must be submitted by June 7 to be considered. For more information, contact Elisa Obregón at 800-782-2040 ext. 5226 or elisa.obregon@ipacc.com.
