It appears that Garamendi is taking credit for reducing the work comp rates in California. Someone needs to let him know that the enormous rates increases that happened during his watch since 1991 have put many employers out of business. He should be thanking our REPUBLICAN governor for the decreases.

Great news! Another day without an earthquake in California. I supposed we should thank Commissioner Garamendi for that also – or should we wait for him to claim credit first?

It\’s only been a year since the reforms, when further loss development hits a few more years from now, I\’ll bet Quackamendi will stand up an take credit for the increases too! Yeah, right.
