Wow! What a sales guy. 2700 commercial policies in six months. An AIG bid-rigger\’s dream. If my math is correct that\’s about 17 policies a day if they took off Sundays. If he actually did it by himself then I may want to hire him after he does his six months because he\’s obviously a brilliant guy and everybody deserves a second chance. Assuming he is not that brilliant then why is Mr. Garamendi announcing only one arrest? He should have waited and got some more names because there is more than one crook in this scam. Golly gee, where is the Spitzer when you need him the most. What we need here is more transparency!
I hope cytre was kidding. Talk to me about low cost, when you have a claim and have no policy or coverage. That\’s terribly expensive in my book. Tell it like it is – the man allegedly was a thief.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THERE ARE ACTUALLY SOME INSURANCE CONSUMERS WHO ONLY SEEM TO WANT A PIECE OF PAPER THAT\’S CHEAP! WHETHER IT\’S A CERT OR AN AUTO INS. ID CARD, THOSE CHOICE INDIVIDUALS ONLY WANT TO SATISFY WHO MIGHT HIRE THEM TO DO A JOB, OR THE POLICE! THAT IS PROBABLY WHY AGENTS OR BROKERS ENGAGE IN SUCH SCAMS—THEY DON\’T THINK THESE PEOPLE CARE IF IT IS REAL INSURANCE!
What ever happened to Joe Hall? I had a policy with him for many years, and I was actually someone who didn’t have any problem partly because of the timing of our renewal – he simply told me to seek a new insurance broker and he couldn’t help me, but was hoping to get his business back. All very sad; he seemed a good guy to me, and I heard from one of the workers in his office that she personally express mailed many payment checks to AIG, and they though AIG was in fact still covering people. She told me he was completely shafted, and that she wanted to testify on his behalf but that she was told that if she did they would file charges against her as an accomplice.

They should go easy on this guy. He was just offering a low cost alternative – Sometimes thats all people can afford.
