Who are we to judge one individuals decision to lie and cheat over being truthful and honest. there will always be a reason for one individual to lie and cheat it is all apart of being human. greed and desire drive all of us. you cannot tell me that you have never lied or cheated on anything. of course the severity of the issue will be different but at what level are we going to set for one individual to judge them. I work in the insurance industry and see things like this everyday. insured’s, agents and practically everyone else wanting to save a little money here save a little money there. Granted that there are somethings that can be barganed with but there are also things that are not. The California department of insurance states that it is Illegal to discount one individual insurance over another for just going buisness with that agent. i have insureds that i talk to on the phone and they always want a discount on thier insurance policy because they have been a customer for 2 years. sorry but it doesnt work that way. I am not saying that this individual did was right or wrong. I am just making a comment on the statements that were posted that states that this guy was a bad guy. how do you know that he wasnt taking the money from clients and giving a large portion of it to his local church or a non profit organizaion. on the other hand he could have taken the money for himself and used it for sex and drugs. everyone wants to point fingers and say one person is wrong and due to that person wronging you, you will take everything that they have because you believe that you are entitled to it. when did our society change into something so cruel and cold. we are so easy to sue and blame someone for looking at them instead of forgiving them and trying to understand them.

These insured’s trusted their broker and he had a fiduciary responsibility to those insured’s to do the right thing and protect his client accordingly. So yes, for putting those insured’s and their company’s on the line for his own personel gain is wrong, point blank, period. I have no problem saying that because some of us are just honest when it comes to protecting our clients. Anyone who thinks otherwise will sooner or later end up like this guy here. Behind bars where they should be.

Go CDI, another crumbum rides the bus, another one gone, and another one gone, load these lowlife scumbags on the bus to prison and slam that door. These idiots are the bad apples of the bunch and need to be tossed out right and left. By the way give me a few apples to toss at them, cause I am tired of getting a black eye from these crooks. I think everyone agrees with me. Those who are honest that is.

When are brokers going to learn that it’s all karma. These brokers that are cheating their insured’s must not care that they’re putting everything on the line just for some quick cash. I mean what do they think is going to happen when a claim is filed or the insured wants a copy of the policy. What a moron.

Exactly! Do they think they would never be caught? The policy could be typed up as a fake, but once a claim is reported and the carrier says, umm…what policy? an alarm is going to sound. What a complete idiot. He deserves everything he gets.

While it is true that this individual deserves what is coming to him, under the law.His violation pales to the travestys that have taken place higher up the insurance food chain, and those former CEO’s are living a very comfortable life-style, (e.g. Sanford, Morris).

I used to work with this guy about 6 years ago. It fact the last time I looked the DOI still showed me on his organizational license. That was 6 years ago. He is a “good” LDS guy.

I guess that, in these days of super-sophisticated cyber fraud, a criminally minded opportunist could be excused for thinking that a simple act of hard-copy theft might go un-noticed.

What one generation tolerates, the next will embrace. We should care what motivates a thief? We all live in glass houses but only the terminally stupid ones get caught with thier pants down.
