Caliber Collision Centers Enters into Letter of Intent to Purchase M2 Automotive

Caliber Collision Centers, a California-based operator of collision repair facilities in California and Texas, has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire the business operations of M2 Automotive Inc., with 27 professionally managed collision repair facilities throughout California. The transaction is expected to be finalized within the next 45 days.

According to Dan Pettigrew, president and CEO of Caliber Collision Centers, the acquisition of M2 Automotive will combine the forces of the two largest high quality collision repair providers in California for the benefit of consumers, employees and clients.

“M2 shares our commitment to a performance based environment that benefits consumers by providing high quality repairs and exceptional customer service with the clear goal of being the collision repairer of choice,” Pettigrew said. “Additionally, M2’s store location footprint is complementary to Caliber’s and this acquisition provides our much-desired entries into the San Fernando Valley and Northern California markets.”

Caliber Collision Centers currently owns and operates 68 collision repair facilities in California and Texas.
