Some of the flood certified adjusters should be aware of the fact that at one time a “Mudslide” was covered under the flood policy. The mud had to be in a liquidfied form for there to be coverage. If you are top of a hill, why would you buy flood coverage unless it was ocean front property.

Technically, a mudslide might be covered if the recent wildfires burned the cover off of the hillside in question, and if a rock or boulder rolls into your home, that should be covered.
