American Agents Alliance Unveils New Web Site

The American Agents Alliance is proud to announce the completion of a three-month redesign of its Web site. The project, spearheaded by the association’s Technology Committee, represents ongoing efforts to utilize the latest technology to more efficiently provide services to its members.

“We are very happy with our new Internet home, and encourage all Alliance members to visit www.agentsalliance.com and let us know what they think,” said committee chairman Gary Jensen, who is also the association’s president-elect. “The old site was functional and serviceable, but lack the look we wanted to project for the Alliance – that of cutting-edge, vibrant independent agent/broker association. We are proud of our grassroots beginnings, something that still serves our association well. But The Alliance is also an association on the rise, and we needed a web presence that reflects this.”

Among the new features are easy-to-navigate drop-down menus that take visitor exactly where they want to go, bringing them a wealth of information with one mouse click. The new Member Locator allows the public to search by ZIP Code to find Alliance members in their communities. There is still valuable material available on our members-only site, but instead of using a user name and password provided by the Alliance, our members can choose their own access information. This was included in order for those who use default user names and passwords to continue to do so. There is also a feedback feature, where Web site visitors can send the Alliance their comments.

“Be sure to check the Web site frequently for information on the upcoming Alliance convention, local member meetings open to all, new products and services developed by the Alliance and our strategic partners to assist our members in building and maintaining successful businesses,” said Jensen. “We never forget that our association is member-driven. All are encouraged to use the feedback feature and let us know how we are doing, and what more we can do to serve the needs of our members.”
