July 28, 2003

ClaimIQ (www.ClaimIQ.com), a San Francisco-based provider of decision support solutions for Property/Casualty carriers, announced the Version 2.0 release of InjuryIQ(TM), LiabilityIQ(TM), and VerityIQ(TM). ClaimIQ’s integrated claim-handling platform helps insurance companies control costs by improving the discipline, consistency and effectiveness of injury damages evaluation, comparative negligence assessment, and fraud management.

The Version 2.0 release of InjuryIQ, LiabilityIQ, and VerityIQ includes an enhanced user interface for streamlined claim evaluation, new tools for managing claim notes and information on interested parties, and powerful report writing capabilities that provide managers with detailed claim outcome information at all levels of their organization. The ClaimIQ software platform also includes modules that support claim investigation and negotiation through customized question guides, claim valuation worksheets, and detailed negotiation logs. The latest release also includes architecture enhancements that support increased scalability and simplified, XML-based integration with other insurance carrier systems.

“Version 2.0 of InjuryIQ, LiabilityIQ, and VerityIQ reflects the input of a broad cross-section of casualty claim adjusters and managers,” said Todd Madsen, President and CEO of ClaimIQ. “The result is an integrated software platform that will help improve the quality of key decisions throughout the life of Auto and General Liability claims – from investigation to evaluation to negotiation.”

InjuryIQ, LiabilityIQ, and VerityIQ are delivered through ClaimIQ’s enterprise-class software platform, hosted at client sites or at ClaimIQ’s secure operations center. Application components are written in Java (J2EE standard) and accessed through standard desktop web browsers.
