How in the world is this a criminal matter? And why were the keys left behind, a bunch of kids could have gotten in and done damage, or worse. This appears to be a simple civil matter, and I would tend to agree with the mayor, getting him arrested over some damaged equipment seems to be a politically motivated stunt. I have no idea what side of the coin the mayor lands on, but this contactor likely just cut his potential customer base in about 1/2!
