OK, courts are not always rational. So he gets Work Comp. That Work Comp benefit should be legally and automatically revoked or at least suspended as soon as someone is convicted of a crime and incarcerated. Lets face it, the reason for their inability to work once incarcerated is not the injury, it’s the fact that they are in jail. Had he not been injured, I doubt that his boss would have continued to pay him once he landed in jail.

The work comp benefits should not be paid only if it can be proved he grabbed the power lines on purpose. Otherwise, the disability calls for Work Comp benefits because it is work-related. The fact that this man is also guilty of manslaughter is irrelevant.
