PRIUM’s Pew & ISO CP’s Kelly to Outline MSA Strategies at Atlanta Claims Bootcamp

PRIUM’s senior vice president of Product Development Mark Pew will team with Dorothy Kelly, CEO of ISO Claims Partners, to present “War Games: Winning Strategies for MSA Cost Containment & Settlement” at the Atlanta Claims Association Workers’ Compensation Boot Camp.

High future pharmacy cost presents barriers to settling workers’ compensation claims and their corresponding Medicare Set-Asides. Pew and Kelly will discuss complicating factors to the MSA process and, and introduce the concept of preparing a package of evidence before submitting the MSA proposal. Pros and cons for various cost-control methods will be examined and case studies will demonstrate how physician engagement and case management reduced the scope of inappropriate drug regimens and prepared claims for a smooth MSA process.

The one-day boot camp starting at 8 a.m. on Feb. 4 will be held at the Villa Christina at Perimeter Summit, 4000 Summit Blvd. in Atlanta. For details, please see
