As a distributor of 3M Security films I can proudly say that this is an excellent additional safety precaution. As the article says, this film will NOT stop bullets. There are other companies out there that claim to have bullet resistant film and I wouldn’t trust anyone who tells you that a thin sheet of film can stop a bullet. However, the 3M film will hold the glass together and last time I checked it is very hard to fit through a bullet hole.
Well done West Virginia I hope the rest of the country and Canada for that matter follows suit.
