Scott Is clearly a biased mouth piece for the industry
I don’t know that suing is necessary, people in the know
realize the blog is slanted and don’t really give it much
credibility.
Interesting take on the naming restrictions law. Since US or United States is farely commonly used by multiple insurers, as well as USAA which though it’s not intended to mislead anyone, could do so.
The PA debate may be nothing more than the old standard that there are some outstanding bad firms in every business that give others a bad name, and on the insurers side, they hate attorneys and public adjusters, because those are the only people who know all the tricks to get a policyholder everything they have a right to collect. Insurers are not supposed to be Santa Claus, but they have a very unfair advantage in dealing with a customer in distress who is unable to know all of their rights without paying someone else who does. I’d be happy if this were not true, but I know from plenty of experience that it is true.

(The PA may have opened a can of worms here)
