Authorities say two men have been arrested on charges of stealing thousands of dollars in copper from farm irrigation pivots in Mississippi and selling it in Arkansas.

A news release from U.S. Attorney Felicia Adams says Tigues, 29, is from Inverness. Calvin, 31, if from Belzoni.

The indictments say that Tigues and Calvin each sold more than 300 pounds of copper for scrap in Lake Village, Ark., in December 2010.
