May 22, 2012

Fire investigators say the circumstances surrounding a blaze that damaged a doctor’s office outside Atlanta, Ga., are considered suspicious.

Gwinnett County fire officials say they’re still working to determine the exact cause of the Sunday morning fire at Atlanta GYN-OB, P.C. in Lilburn.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 4:20 a.m. Sunday in response to a call from an alarm company.

Firefighters and police found heavy fire in a corner office suite of the commercial office building on Pleasant Hill Road. Fire officials say the flames caused extensive interior damage.

No one was working in the office at the time, and no injuries were reported.
