Helmets may help, but they won’t prevent serious injury in all cases. Horseback riding is dangerous. Always has been; always will be. Anybody remember the concept of “assumption of risk”?
I agree, how is that even a bicyclist has to have a helmet but not a machine that can go way past 80mph. I am battling this now in the state of Florida. In my opinion all ages and all horseman,skateboarders,cyclist should wear helmets.
