Great idea for college campuses and retirement villages; bad idea for roads and highways. These things afford the driver NO safety from the risk of collision with REAL vehicles and other road hazards. They themselves are a hazard as they interfere with REAL vehicular traffic due their inability to travel over 30MPH. When people put saving a few bucks over their personal safety, they are gamling with their lives. And since these don’t require insurance, what’s going to happen when they cause an accident and get sued?
