Coming in late on this one…but just two comments:
1) The correct spelling is “frivolous”
2) Maybe we should consider the UK’s “loser pays” system for frivolous lawsuits. Yes, there are negatives, but it might just stop some folks in their tracks.
well, i don’t think they can actually get him for dui, but probably drunk in public since the vehicle he was using was a motorized scooter and not a passenger vehicle. but you would think, or at least hope the officer gave him a ticket for driving carelessly of some sort…
It is not his fault that he was drunk! …Come on! … He is 73 he has Social Security and Medicare … it is his RIGHT to drink! … he is ENTITLED to drink. In fact he shouldn’t have to pay for drinks anyway because some rich educated dude made him work for 40+ years … and then laid him off to hire a younger worker … probable a woman … and an illegal one at that! … So the very least the government could do is give him FREE drinks. And for God’s sake … He was on a scotter … ’cause he can’t afford the high priced stupid insurance … from those stinking rich insurance companies … who woiuld deny him his claim anyway … AND he should be ENTITLED to a percentage of somebodys income who makes over a million dollars and doesn’t pay taxes … because he worked his whole life to put money into their pockets! … IN FACT … he should be given a FREE room in some rich persons house … because they have rooms they don’t even use! …
Vote Obama in 2012 …. he will fix this situation …
