Oh great, after the meeting they will change the wind inspection form and all the carriers will require new inspections. Just do away with the forms all together.

Maybe we’re in the wrong business. Maybe we should be doing wind mitigation inspections. Keep changing the form, keep requiring new inspections. So much for the promise of 5 years.

I thought the new form, along with photos, seemed pretty comprehensive. Not sure what they could uncover 6-8 months later with a newer form.

What happened to the form being good for 5 years? Who is going to pay for my third inspection when my insurance carrier drops me again for reducing wind exposure??? The premium savings I received for these forms have been paid out to the wind inspection companies. I would of rather paid a higher premium to the insurance company and forget the form.

Hopefully they’re going to address the FBC question for metal and tile roofs. Besides that I can’t think of anything not addressed on the new form.
