I’m not arrogant enough to think I know what’s in God’s plan. So I go every day trying to be tolerant and accepting. If being gay or having an abortion is a “sin”, then God will take care of that as He chooses. It is not for man to judge morals or sin. We have our man-made laws to abide by and leave the rest up to God.
Everything, good and bad, is due to the grace of God. And that doesn’t apply just to Christians. Why does everyone think their God is the only God, when there is only one God? Whether that’s Christ to you, or Mohammad, or whomever.
It’s when man starts to think he knows God better than anyone else that the world becomes an ugly place. So leave morals and sin to God and take care of your own side of the street. If everyone did that, the world would be a better place.
We can believe what we choose. We are answerable for what we choose to believe.
As far as taking care of my side of the street, that’s done. My problem is with liberals expecting me to pay for the other side of the street too, you know abortions being paid for with my health Insurance premiums, tax dollars funding abortions overseas. It’s the left side of the street that needs sweeping.
I get the whole, ‘this country was founded on religious freedom, we’re being hypocrytes if we don’t allow it’ but this isn’t a Jewish church or other known peaceful religon. I know I know, not all Muslims are terrorists or violent however, I’m unaware of many known terrorists in the last 10 years that aren’t muslim or a branch of it that want to destroy our way of life. That’s a fact. They have their holy land and look what their religon did to those countries. Many, not all, but many muslims commit horrific crimes against women in the name of religon. It’s male dominat which is fine if that’s how they want it but it’s violent and that’s not welcome. Of course their gospel’s teachings are peaceful but the actions of the followers show otherwise. America isn’t ready for them to be our neighbor, we’re still upset, ohh considering we’re STILL at war with Muslim terrorists. And instead of respecting that, they’re muscling their way in anyway and forcing it and actually have the nerve to use the religous freedom card when their friends back home are butchering Christian missionaries, suprise suprise. It was wrong to burn their church, what does that say about our own countries tolerance? Americans shouldn’t lower themselves to violence to solve problems. That’s what they do back east. We’re better than that. Call me ignorant, I’m just being observant.

This country was founded on a helluva lot more than just religious freedom. It was founded on individual freedom. It was founded on the premise that every man, woman and child had the right, not privilege to practice their religion, speak their mind and protect themselves without fear, reprisal or retribution from the government.
The US needs an enemy, and through the actions of a few radicals and information which may or may not always be accurate becoming available without filter, or in the alternative with a filter to dilute those things they are not permitted to see, we have been provided one. Those without enough common sense will fight their perceived enemy not with conventional means, but with guerrilla tactics that meekly mirror what they perceive to be the way to frighten and disuade their enemy in the same manner they’ve been frightened. I say meekly mirror, because an inherent fear of authority causes them to strike from hiding, and not take responsibility for their actions.
The sides have been drawn, there are those who feed the fear driven, hate fueled, rumor mill that keeps us paranoid and controlled. Then there are those who look at the whole picture and correctly assume that things are not always what they seem. Sadly too many are in the latter group, and being the minority, their voices are too often never heard.
Before it was the USSR, now it’s the Taliban and by extension, Muslims. Eventually however, our true enemy will be revealed… Ourselves.
Islam is not a peaceful religion! I just saw a video of a young woman being stoned to death for not wearing her Barka out her house in Saudi Arabia.
After 9/11 I never heard anyone that was muslim come down hard on Alqueda or strongly denounce Hamas. Have you ever heard a muslim say, Alah Bless America?
Sorry to say but if Islam disapeared this world would be a much more peaceful place.

The rules apply to everyone or they apply to no-one. It’s not up to you, or anyone else to dictate who is allowed which freedoms in this country.
