The woman was 29 and was the former girlfriend of this whack job, age 56. As her former “boyfriend” and son of a former governor he was probably well-known at the townhouse development. Gated communities aren’t private police forces and wouldn’t necessarily have known about any protective order. They exist to keep common trespassers and curiosity seekers out. I hope the mother loses her suit. If she wants to sue anyone, it should be the estate of the whack job who killer her daughter.
