My website has information about various construction options (with varying levels of protectiveness), and links to key companies, organizations, and government agencies, including FEMA (their publication 320 on “safe rooms” for homes). All are invited to check it out. Free.
Dustin [Shane], What are you talking about?
Jean, most in these rural areas cannot
afford the price for such construction.
We have lost too many jobs.
Hal, so sad and yet so true!
I challenge fellow Republicans, Democrats, Americans and Texans to anti up to the bar and help fund rebuilding these folks homes. Most Texans either know someone who lost property or had a friend or relative injured in their lifetime by tornados and hurricanes. When Katrina destroyed New Orleans and the Federal Government was organizing relief the great state of Texas opened her doors to hundreds of thousands of Katrina refugees. Texas fed, clothed, and provided shelter to them. It is time to help these people from neighboring Southern states out. Who cares if 9% or 99% did not have insurance. The first few days are the most critical. While Obama and FEMA are making plans these folks need help days ago. Let’s all get up off our asses and send money. Request your state governments from the surrounding Southern states help out in any way they can. What better way to convert people to the GOP than showing them sincere compassion when they are in need. The Federal government has no money thanks to the regime in charge. They can no longer even run NFIP consistently. It is up to everyone to help out. Southerners are known for their can do spirit, generosity, strength, and spirituallity. Don’t wait for Washington D.C> and Obamanation. These are great folks and they need our help now!!!

It looks like the weekend of storms will do more for job creation in these states than all the money spent so far in the stimulus package.
