Life brings risk. We have lost all sense of risk taking in favor of a philosphy that everything, every action, every animal needs to be fully controlled. Remarkably, these attacks by large predatory animals is small. Only those who seek to control every aspect of life look to this type of an incident to remove all risk. I think this attitude overlooks the fact that domesticated animals like dogs pose a risk, as do wild deer and motor vehicle accidents. I would suggest they take a deep breath and do some deeper musing.
