“In 2008, there were 3,067 DUI arrests in Kentucky for teen drivers between the ages of 16 and 19…”

I thought it was mandatory to drink and drive to get your license in Kentucky…not so?

The solution and the responsibility lies with the parents, not the police, the government, or anyone else. If they aren’t part of the solution, they’re part of the problem. Unfortunately, drinking in many of these southern states is a badge of honor and family tradition so the parents might not be much help. In any case, start locking them up when their little _hitheads get busted for drinking and watch the kids behavior change.

Excuse me? Drinking is NOT a “badge of honor” in any southern family I know, and I am a proud Alabama native. There are rednecks and lowlifes in every area of the country. If we are so ignorant why is NASA here?? This is about an age group that typically experiments with things they should not do.
    BTW ROLL TIDE!!

NASA is there because it needed a lot of empty land and cheap unskilled labor. Most of it’s knowledge employees were relocated there.
