These idiots caused all this damage and now the taxpayers will have to pay to provide them with a nice new faciltiy. Something’s wrong with this picture. When the animals inside decide to do this, they should pay a stiff penaly. I’d suggest the authorities take a page out of Arizona’s playbook and let them live in tents with no running water while the place is repaired. They crap in their cage, let them live in it.

I know what you guys are saying, but I can relate to Kali’s comments. It’s frustrating to see your hard earned tax dollars going to pay to re-build a prison because the criminals inside burned it down. They are there for a reason, being supported 100% with the tax dollars earned by law abiding people. They don’t work, they don’t pay taxes, they contribute nothing to society. They’re iin prison because they violated society in some fashion. Why shouldn’t they pay the consequences for their actions? They obviously didn’t learn much from being sentenced to prison so they act with impugnity and arrogance. Unless they’re being abused, they have no “rights”. Prison isn’t supposed to be comfortable. I agree, they should be allowed to live in the mess they made. Maybe then they’ll think twice before doing it again.
