Soooooo… It’s okay for a Druggist to refuse to dispense contraceptives because it is against their religious beliefs… but someone can’t refuse to expose themselves to HIV because the “customer” thinks it’s okay to imperil the lives of others because they suffer from male pattern baldness…
Where does this make sense??? What is this world coming to – first that this idiot is worried about how he “looks” and second – that some hair brain attorney has the &$@#*(‘s to file a claim for something so trivial? I know – Lets get the atty in their and have the tech walk them through the procedure… we’ll see how far that goes
The inmates are truly running the asylum. It’s a sad day when people’s rights are violated by being forced to do something against their will to accomodate some loser with a fatal disease that could be transmitted. The courts have lost the ability to exercise some common sense. There is no case.
True, cosmetic surgery is not exactly the most important medical issue for most of us. But this is not a danger. There are established protocols for safely treating people with infectious diseases. So we might at least ask why the “doctor” really refused to treat this person. The doctor has probably treated other HIV+ patients who never told him their status.

Why put doctor in quotes? Is he not really a doctor or are you merely casting aspersion with sneer quotes? Why speculate that the doctor is equipped to handle HIV patients? If he is, why deny treatment?
See how stupid you sould trying to be politically correct?
And you’re right: he probably has treated people who didn’t know or didn’t reveal that they had HIV. They should be imprisoned if it came to light that someone witheld the fact that he was HIV positive from a doctor performing surgery on him.

So how does one man force another man to work for him without it being slavery?
And how does one man force another man to perform non-essential, elective cosmetic surgery on him at the risk of his life and still sleep at night?
Is it just me, or should hair plugs be the last thing this guy should be worried about? For heaven’s sake!
I have to agree. If it was medical care to save his life and the doctor refused, I could see where the law would apply.
But, because you want an elective surgery and the doctor is refusing, I do not see where he can justify suing the doctor.
HIV: the world’s first virus with civil rights?!

What if he had Ebola or Swine Flu? Since when did a communicable disease become a “status” as stated in the article?
Yes, he should be treated in an emergency room- but an elective cosmetic surgery!

Calm down now, Al. No need to get all hysterical and spew accusations. Just trying to have an intelligent conversation. Have a good day.
