Prior to this incident Reece suffered a brain injury that left his judgment severely impaired. That’s why he failed to realize the danger in walking directly under a precariously perched raised pallet of plywood. Surely a person without brain damage or even a small child would know better.

Sounds like this guy was lucky to not have been killed. This is surprising as it seems HD is pretty good about blocking off aisles that have an active lift truck in it. Seems like it always happens when I need to get something in an aisle.

Agree. What kind of pinhead goes anywhere near a forklift loaded with plywood in the first place? Something stinks on this one.

excellent comment Scott….in today’s society no one is responsible for their own actions….we have become a society of who can we blame for our misfortunes!

Well at least Home Depot is stepping up and paying this poor man some money hopefully he will be able to get back to normal everyday activities.
