    I worked in retail. I saw pictures of people who had bounced checks and used fraudulent credit cards every day. I can guarantee you, I could have been introduced to her at a dinner party and never put her with the name on yet another warning pinned at the register. An apology and a $100 gift card shouldve been sufficient.

    I would have been happy with a free soft pretzel everytime I went in

    In this day and age and considering the bad economy, this award is unconscionable. Where to the courts think this money comes from? I agree an apology and nominal compensation ($500 gift certificate) would have been sufficient.
