this is a result of our legislative process at all levels being controlled and manipulated by the trial lawyers we have elected. a reasonable and intelligent judicial system would throw out frivolous lawsuits like this one on the basis that: “you pays your money and you takes your chances”. life is full of risks; if you don’t want to face them, don’t get out of bed in the morning. and especially don’t buy a motor vehicle that could possibly injure you.
While I agree with your statements regarding trial lawyers, I have to say that this vehicle is dangerous and Yamaha does know it. As long as this isn’t a class action lawsuit, I’m ok with the people getting some money on this one. If a company puts an excessivley dangerous product on the market, in today’s enviroment, they have to assume some liability.
